There is no flat unit price. Cost depends on four factors: the process (UV, PU, rubber paint, gradient, chameleon and other effects differ in cost), the coating area and structural complexity, order quantity, and the paint type and color requirements. We offer free sampling — send us your drawings or samples and we will calculate a formal quote based on the actual process. No inflated numbers.

What is the difference between UV, PU and rubber paint?

UV paint cures instantly under ultraviolet light — high hardness, wear resistance and gloss, ideal for premium glossy housings. PU paint offers strong adhesion, a fine hand feel and high fullness, with better weather resistance than ordinary color paint. Rubber paint (soft-touch) gives a silky matte, skin-like touch, widely used on handheld electronics such as earphones and power banks. We recommend the right paint system based on your product's use case.

How does sampling work? Is it charged?

What is the typical lead time?

What is the difference between screen printing and pad printing?

Accepted Answer

Screen printing suits flat or regularly curved surfaces, laying down a thick, vivid, well-adhered ink layer. Pad printing transfers ink via a silicone pad, enabling fine graphics on irregular curves, grooves and uneven surfaces. We run our own screen and pad printing lines, so printing can be done right after painting for one-stop delivery.

Will laser engraving fade?

No. Laser engraving etches graphics into the paint layer or the substrate itself — it is physical engraving, not applied ink, so there is nothing to fade. It is wear-resistant and permanent, commonly used for backlit key legends, logos and functional markings.

How are gradient colors made?

Accepted Answer

Gradients are produced by controlling the transition between paint mists of different colors during spraying, and our automatic line handles two-color or multi-color gradients stably. Chameleon, pearl, metallic and flock-effect paints are also available. We recommend approving a sample before mass production.

How do you control color difference?

Accepted Answer

A master color board is approved at the sampling stage and mass production follows the sealed sample. Automatic line parameters are fixed and paint batches are managed centrally to keep color deviation within acceptable limits. For color-critical projects, send a physical sample or color code and we will match it.

Question 13

What causes paint peeling and how do you prevent it?

Peeling usually comes from poor surface cleaning, a primer that does not match the substrate, or insufficient curing. Our countermeasures: pre-treatment of every part before the line, primer systems matched to the material (ABS, PC, metal, etc.), and full curing after each of the three coats — adhesion is secured at the source.

Can you handle both large and small parts? Plastic and metal?

Yes to both. We finish plastic and metal housings. Small parts (earphones, buttons, charger shells) run in volume on the automatic line; large or irregular parts go to the reciprocating semi-automatic lines or the manual UV line — three line types combined flexibly.

Yes. Turnkey, processing-only, sample-based and drawing-based orders are all welcome.
